Building Suicide and Abuse Freer Communities
Our Programs
The Caribbean Voice employs a Zero Suicide & Abuse Approach towards building Suicide and Abuse (domestic, sexual, child and substance) Freer Communities across the Caribbean through five pillars of operation:
- Advocacy & Lobbying – Working with governments, institutions, and communities to create policy change.
- Research, Information Dissemination and Awareness Building – Using social and traditional media to educate and inform.
- Training and Mentoring – Building capacity through professional development and volunteer training.
- Counseling – Providing pro bono clinical counseling services to those in need.
- Fostering Stakeholders' Collaboration – Building partnerships across sectors and nations.

Community Impact
Our programs span multiple Caribbean nations including Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, Bermuda, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, as well as the Diaspora in the USA, Canada, and the UK.
Each workshop identifies persons with needs, mostly counseling arising out of various manifestations of abuse and suicide fallout. Finding those who need help and connecting them with counseling and assistance is the culmination of all our work.
We continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact, driven by the conviction that Suicide & Abuse Prevention are Everybody's Business.
